This Implementation Guide supports schools in delivering a whole day Professional Learning (PL) program aligned to the Accreditation standards for staff in Victorian Catholic schools. The guide outlines how to plan, facilitate, and evaluate a full day formation experience plus five additional 1hour sessions that may be grouped or delivered across the year, using the Faith Formation Framework as the pedagogical and theological foundation.

Purpose: To deepen Catholic identity and leadership throughout 2026, the special Year of St Francis including: exploring the lives and charisms of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Patrick; engaging with the MACS Forming Hearts: Faith Formation Framework and key Papal Documents. Staff in Catholic schools will encounter the theology of grace and accompaniment by embarking on strategic accreditation plans that move staff from compliance to a "burning heart" encounter with Christ.
