Rachel Prince

Rachel Prince is the Youth and Schools Engagement Officer for Catholic Mission across Victoria and Tasmania. She has served in both Director of Faith and Mission and Assistant Mission Integration Leader roles in schools, leading and supporting communities in faith formation and social justice. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and postgraduate qualifications in Public Art, Teaching, and Religious Education, and is currently undertaking mission studies. She is passionate about fostering opportunities for encounter, justice, and transformation in Catholic education.

Fr Mark Reynolds

Priest of the Archdiocese of Melbourne for 45 years during which time he has served in both parish and educational settings.  He has spent many years engaged with the welfare of retired priests in the Archdiocese and is currently the chair of the Priests Retirement Foundation.  In 2021 Archbishop Peter appointed him as the inaugural Episcopal Vicar for Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne.  He is passionate about the vital contribution that schools can make in helping form young people for mission.

Michael McGirr

Michael McGirr is the Mission Facilitator as well as the Melbourne Diocesan Director at Caritas Australia. He has many years’ experience as a high school teacher, working in the area of faith and mission. He is a well-known writer and his many books include Bypass: the story of a road, Things You get For Free, Books That Saved My Life, Finding God’s Traces, Doorways into Hope and Joy, Ideas to Save Your Life (text), The Cup We Bless (John Garratt), Ideas to Save Your Life (text) and Every Day is New (John Garratt). He is a regular columnist for both Australian Catholics and Madonna, a regular contributor to The Age and Sydney Morning Herald and frequent guest on ABC Radio. He lives in Melbourne with Jenny and their three young adult children, as well as a very pleasant dog called Pip.
